Good intentions, flawed execution

The location is superb and offers amazing views! The breakfast features an excellent spread with both hot and cold items, which is quite satisfying!

Despite the lovely grounds, the interior felt a bit outdated and could use a refresh! Also, the staff's attitude at times leaves much to be desired.

The location was fantastic, with excellent lake views and spacious, well-decorated rooms. Our comfort was ensured with excellent air-conditioning and bathroom facilities.

The stay was fantastic, with a great location right next to the train and bus stations. Our room had an outstanding view of the lake, and the breakfast spread was plentiful, setting us up nicely for our sightseeing adventures. Overall, it was a lovely experience despite the hotel bar closing earlier than we would have liked.

Rooms are smaller than expected, making it difficult for two people to stay comfortably without feeling cramped, especially with limited storage space. Views from some rooms are obstructed by walls or trees, not aligning with the hotel's advertised allure of lake views. The breakfast leaves much to be desired, with low-quality scrambled eggs and unappetizing fruit that felt more like an afterthought than a refinement. Additionally, cleaning services seemed inconsistent, leaving dirty pillows in the room and not replenishing essentials without request.

I loved the prime location across from Lake Como and the convenience of nearby boat docks. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay. My room offered great views of the lake and was spacious, providing a comfortable atmosphere for relaxing. The breakfast had an excellent selection and was served in a beautiful dining area. One downside was the bathroom layout. it felt cramped and could use some renovating. Additionally, temperature control in the room was an issue. it was quite warm, and even with the window open, it didn’t cool down much. I noticed some noise issues from nearby rooms, which could be distracting. Overall, a fantastic location, but some aspects need improvement, especially in the bathroom and soundproofing.

We stayed for four nights, and the breakfast was fantastic. Every morning, we indulged in Prosecco along with an array of eggs and bacon. The staff was genuinely accommodating. When I requested a late checkout, they handled it without hesitation while treating us like royalty.

The views from my Double Room Lake View were nothing short of lovely, with the serene waters of the lake glistening under the sun. Breakfast was an exquisite treat, served with a good view of the water, allowing me to savor every bite while soaking up the picturesque scenery. The location couldn't be more perfect, just steps away from boat docks and local attractions this fine area!
